One adult or senior can get in free per National Lottery Ticket or scratchcard (bring a Lottery ticket or any National Lottery game, either physical or online with you).
The redevelopment of the museum in 2018 and the restoration of LCT 7074 was funded with money from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. It’s currently supporting a live project called Hampshire’s Hidden D-Day, which over the coming months will look to research the numerous troop marshalling camps located across Hampshire which played a role in the D-Day landings.
The D-Day Story is the only museum in the UK dedicated to the story of D-Day, the huge preparations, the Battle of Normandy and its legacy.
