Gaze Burvill will launch their new ‘Splash Lounge’ range at the 2015 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Simon Burvill said: “This new Splash Lounge Collection by co-founder of Gaze Burvill, designer Christian Gaze, has a luxurious, indulgent and contemporary feel, perfect for urban and country terraces and those outdoor-indoor spaces which have become so much a part of desirable lifestyle. The ‘Handcrafted in Britain’, unique design, and best environmental credentials make this collection the right choice for elegant lounging. Our ‘Roof Garden’ designed by John Wyer at The RHS Chelsea Flower Show gives us the perfect shop window on Main Avenue, into which to showcase our distinguished hand crafted furniture, and I am looking forward to getting one and all to try out these exceptional pieces.”
With steam-bent oak providing outstanding strength, the fumed oak frame, borrows the iconic aesthetics from the original Splash Collection. A more relaxed, deeper and inviting seat with a softer, thicker cushion contrasts well with flowing Oak curved backs offering great comfort. Versatile and on trend, the new Splash Lounge Collection is a modular concept comprised of five units. As well as the ‘Chaise’ and long straight section and square table, the collection of includes corner pieces and another straight section in a shorter length, as well as a chest for the covers. The new pieces come with ‘Sunbrella’ canvas white cushions, with quick-dry foam and outdoor fabric, as standard, but clients can of course specify fabric, for outdoor or indoor use, as the new collection will work well indoors too. Prices start at £1,920, including VAT, for the low table, to £6,960 including VAT for the Chaise.
Made from solid oak, FSC or PEFC, Splash Lounge draws on the most beautiful traditions of wood craftsmanship, including the use of steam-bent oak. Fitted cushions, complete the indulgent ‘interior’ mood of the garden room, although the seats with their sculpted form are very comfortable without them.
