Sunlight breaking through the trees in the New Forest
A new family-friendly trail has been launched as part of the 2015 Winchester Criterium and CycleFest organised by Winchester City Council.
The Criterium Trail invites budding ‘cycle explorers’ to track down wheel-shaped clues hidden around Winchester in each of the participating shops and rearrange them into a cycle-themed word to claim their prize.
This year the Winchester Criterium and CycleFest has teamed up with Montezuma’s Chocolates – one of Winchester’s top independent shops selling delicious chocolates – to provide a treat to everyone who cracks the cunning code.
The Winchester Criterium Trail runs until Saturday 6 June. Free quiz sheets are available to collect from Winchester Tourist Information Centre or to download at: www.winchestercriterium.org/trail
Completed quiz sheets should be taken to Montezuma’s Chocolates where, if the answer matches up, participants will be rewarded with a prize. Head over to the Winchester Criterium and CycleFest Facebook page and sign up to keep up to date with event news.
And there is also a competition to win a year’s chocolate club membership worth £240 with Montezuma’s Chocolates or a £250 voucher from Hargroves.
