New bishop enthroned at Winchester Cathedral

The enthronement of the 97th Bishop of Winchester, The Rt Rev Tim Dakin, took place on Saturday. He succeeded The Rt Rev Michael Scott-Joynt who retired after 16 years in the position.

In his opening sermon, the new bishop said  “I believe the Diocese is ready to move on and is ready for change. I hope we’ll pioneer change and see great growth. I’d like Winchester to become a net exporter of mission.”
